Many time in excel we need to change row data in column or column data in row. This can be done by doing simply copy and paste if the data is quite small say one or two cells. But it can be difficult to it when the data is large suppose 200 rows/columns.
To solve such issues in excel there is very useful function called transpose. Transpose is the sub menu-item of edit menu paste special function.
How to Transpose Data in Google Sheet/Excel (Rows to Column)?
Step 1 : Select and copy the data available in rows which you want to transpose
Step 2 : Select the cell where you want to paste the transposed data
Step 3 : Go to Edit => Paste Special => Paste Transposed
Step 4 : And you are done!!
In similar fashion you can also copy data available in column and paste as transposed to make in row.
